Collections Advisors Little Island Main Duties/Responsibilities: Present customers with appropriate options to facilitate debt reduction and achievement of targets Know the collection process, adhere to the collection process Work with customers in an empathetic and professional manner to understand their circumstances and to assist them in their effort to settle outstanding accounts Build strong relationships and rapport with third party support services e. g. MABS, St Vincent De Paul etc. Resolve any challenges on the call, make every effort to resolve queries on first touch, document and update systems appropriately. Be an ambassador for the clients brand, protect and preserve at all times Make informed decisions in a timely manner Communicate and escalate effectively and efficiently Perform all duties in line with the expected standard of Quality This list is non-exhaustive and duties may change to reflect the changing needs of the business. Experience and attributes required: experience working in a similar role Utility experience not mandatory but advantageous Excellent work ethic and confident phone manner essential Fluent oral and written English required Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills Experience of working to and performing against set targets Strong negotiating and influencing skills Proactive and can do/will do attitude Strong PC skills MS office/data entry experience
