Global Controller Operations Team is a key part of Oracle s World Class
Financeorganisation. This progressive and innovative team comprises a
dynamic group ofapproximately100 financial professionals based in Dublin, responsible for Oracle s revenue
accounting, internalmanagementreporting, business analysis, external statutory reporting, US & local
compliance, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

in Oracle s Dublin office, reporting to EMEA Tax Director, the EMEA Senior Tax
Accountant will be part of the EMEA Direct Tax Compliance Team responsible for about
20 trading/financing companies and a variable number of companies undergoing
re-organization or winding down in the EMEA Region.


  • Review of Corporation Tax Returns,
    generally prepared by external advisors, for the EMEA entities to submit
    for EMEA Tax Compliance Director s approval. And insure submission is done
    on time.
  • Review
    and, when required, preparation of the provision to return
  • Review
    and, when required preparation, of the quarterly income tax provision
  • Review
    the tax provision notes prepared by the external advisors and sign off on
    any tax matter reported in the local subsidiaries Financials.
  • Analyze
    the correctness of the Transfer Pricing booking for the region, as well as
    providing the necessary facts/data in order to complete the local TP
  • Provide calculation and explain Transfer
    Pricing position to Finance and Tax Audit Team as well as external
  • Support
    the business on cross country tax inquiries
  • Prepare
    the analysis of FIN48 for standard and non standard provisions
  • Ad hoc
    income tax compliance requirement for acquired and dissolving entities
  • Provide
    support to tax audit and M&A and Planning teams when required


  • Qualified
    taxation professional and / or has a relevant accounting qualification
  • Minimum
    4-5 years post qualification experience, ideally in a technology
  • Strong
    working knowledge in the areas of technical accounting, auditing &
  • Knowledge
    Excel at expert level
  • Good
    knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

As a member of the finance division, you will assist in accounting functions which may include general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions. Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, reconciliation and reporting. Maintain and implement general accounting systems. Conduct account reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision making. Develop and prepare financial reports including profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Review and analyze inter-company transactions. Ensure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specifications. Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes. May participate in special projects.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Strong analytical, prioritization and communication skills in partnering with other internal groups and management. Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets is essential. Familiarity with Oracle Financials is essential. 5 years accounting experience and BA/BS degree in Accounting or equivalent. Some positions need you to be bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
