Customer Service Representative - FCPS

Job Purpose:

Our skilled customer service representatives ensure that FCP clients get a bank-beating service in terms of the quality, reliability and support that we provide.

CSR s look after our customers by ensuring that payment information is accurate, clients are properly set up and enabled to use our online system, queries are answered fully, potential errors are notified to clients in advance, and transactions are cancelled or cheques are stopped promptly at the customer s request.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Key new payee data for UK clients and call off same
  • Key new UK Clients on the PayManager System
  • Validate EFT Bank details
  • Run Duplicate EFT Report
  • Answer calls from agents and commercial clients
  • Provide support to client operators on our PayDirect system
  • Provide quotations
  • Key offline transactions
  • Print & delete occasional faxes from Zetafax
  • Place stops, cancel & refund cheques & EFT s
  • Retrieve old drafts or transfer records from Archives
  • Order Stationery as required
  • Execute data entry control reports
  • Perform call & care programs as required
  • Complete daily balancing report
  • Deal with web queries
  • Contact clients regarding un-reconciled lodgements
  • Open & sort post
  • Perform filing work

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
  • Strong computer skills and experience of working with various systems required

  • A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential to the role
  • Good timekeeping and punctuality
